An empowerment photoshoot is not about being a model or having a certain body. It is about seeing yourself the way the people who love you already do: strong, confident and completely yourself. I run empowerment and body confidence photoshoots from my Plymouth studio for clients across Devon and Cornwall.
Who Books an Empowerment Shoot?
Empowerment shoots are booked by people marking a milestone, such as a birthday, a recovery, a weight-loss or strength journey, or a fresh start. They are for anyone who has spent years hiding from the camera and wants that to change, and for clients who want striking portraits for themselves, not for anyone else.

You Will Never Be Left Wondering What to Do
Most people I photograph have never had a professional shoot before, and almost everyone is nervous at the start. That is normal. I guide every pose, adjust the lighting to flatter you, and keep the session relaxed and unhurried. You can bring a friend for support, and a makeup artist is available at extra cost.

Choosing Your Style

Before Your Shoot
Every session starts with a chat. We talk about what you want to feel when you look at your images, and plan outfits and style together. My free photoshoot confidence guide and prep guide then walk you through the days before your shoot.
THE SHOOT
Shoot Day and Your Gallery
Your shoot is a private, fully guided session in the studio. Afterwards, your professionally edited images are delivered in a private online gallery.

My first professional photoshoot with Pete was nothing short of amazing! He was really progressional, super creative and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. We took 400 shots in just under 2 hours, safe to say it was difficult to narrow down all the epic shots he took. Highly recommend if you are looking for studio for creative work, loads of colour backdrops and props!
Pete did my shoot after a weight loss/fitness journey and he made me feel really at ease and relaxed! I was so anxious starting out but 5 minutes in, I didn't feel nervous at all and he even involved my partner with the shoot, showing him the shots and asking him to help with content. 100% recommend Pete! 5*!
